Life And Short Term Disability Programs
This benefit is paid for by PML for all
full-time employees meeting eligibility requirements,
The Short-Term Disability portion of this
policy pays 60% of an employee’s average gross wages, up to a
maximum of $300 per week, and a maximum of 26 weeks per
incident. For non-work related accidents, benefits begin the
first day of injury. For all other non-work related
disabilities, such as; sickness, hospitalization and pregnancy,
benefits begin the first day following seven days of missed work
related to the disability.
The Accidental Death & Dismemberment
portion of this policy provides for a payment of $10,000 upon
the Accidental Death or Dismemberment of the insured.
Benefits are reduced by 35% upon the
attainment of age 65 of the insured, and disability coverage
shall be further reduced upon the insured’s attainment of age
70. The AD&D portion of the policy shall terminate upon the
insured’s attainment of age 70. The policy, in whole, shall
terminate upon the insured’s attainment of age 75.
